Approximately late 80's, early 90's there arrived a new line of big statues on the market. From some of these big statues they created smaller ones. This line contained all kind of Walt Disney characters. They used Polyester in the production of these statues. These days these statues are rare and only become more rare. When stored to cold they often crack. These statues regularly require maintence over time. This is maintence we do before selling. We always try to find the balance between cleaning and (if necessary) (small) repairs. In case of (small) repairs we always mention this. The balance we are looking for is to preserve the authentique aging of the statue and the quality of the statue. After the maintence the are fit to last another few decades. And so we preserve these incredible collectibles to last even longer.
This statue of Donald Duck resting on his suitcase was so populair that they recreated the smaller version later in the 90's. The version in the 90's was made from Polyresin instead of Polyester.
