Part of the Walt Disney Showcase Collection, Grand Jester Studios has its own unique style. This style resonates with collectors worldwide and has quickly become highly collectible among fans of Walt Disney and Looney Tunes. Each original bust created by Grand Jester Studios tells a story.
Perhaps the most unique feature in the design is that only the top half of each character is sculpted. They are then mounted on a base that contains either a reference to the character's personality or a reference to the movie they are from (or both).
Let's take, for example, this bust of the Walt Disney character Merida from the movie Brave. Merida is shown capturing her brave personality in action. She is mounted on a base representing the stones in the film, which serve not only as a meeting place for Merida but also as the setting for the final showdown. These stones are based on the Callanish Stones on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland's Outer Hebrides.
Another example is this bust of Daffy Duck, dressed as Robin Hood. Based on the Looney Tunes classic cartoon "Robin Hood Daffy," Daffy is sculpted in his Robin Hood outfit, mounted on a tree stump representing the forest where Robin Hood lives. Next to the stump is Robin Hood's famous bow, and behind the stump is a wanted poster. Altogether, this creates a perfect depiction of this Looney Tunes classic cartoon.
